Henry IV, Part 1 combines action with high family drama in an intimate exploration of political pressure, personal reality, and the cost of investment in a system that betrays you. Mrs. Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro will serve as the Boar’s Head Tavern, the Royal Court, and the battlefields of Shrewsbury as the new production investigates the relationships that have been captivating audiences for more than 400 years.

Featuring original plays written by Sandbox Members, and an ensemble of Chicago artists, this two-week run will feature thrills, shocking betrayals, psychological twists, scream queens, family guilt, and maybe a jump scare…or TWO.
